The Nogales High School Junior ROTC (NHS AFJROTC) program
is very active in local community and surrounding regional area events. As the only AFJROTC unit in Santa Cruz and southern
Pima counties, the unit is constantly sought after to provide support for all sorts of community and civic activities. Quarterly
events include; but are not limited to, Color Guard support, Honor Guard support, Drill Team support, Drill and Ceremony Parade
support, Flag Raising and Lowering Ceremonial support, Retreat Ceremonial support, Customs and Courtesy Elementary and Middle
School Training support, Youth Mentoring and Tutoring support, Community Leadership Workshop support, Community Outreach Services
support, and Wellness, Fitness and Life Skills community support.
